ISIS Visa Saga: Buhari Suspends Immigration Boss



The Comptroller-General of Nigeria Immigration Service; David Parradang was yesterday, suspended by President Muhammadu Buhari for
yet unknown reasons. Parradang who was suspended on Friday, August 21, 2015, will now be replaced by the Deputy Comptroller-General, Martin Abeshi, the News Agency of Nigeria reports.
Fear had earlier arisen among the staff and management of the NIS, over the granting of a Nigerian visa to ISIS top militant, Ahmed Al Assir.
Reports had it that the Nigerian Presidency felt embarrassed that a man on the international terror list had obtained a Nigerian visa and was on his way to the country.
