Fox announced Wednesday during

the summer conference of 2015 Television Critics Association that the dramatic series with Wentworth Miller  and Dominic Purcell  so dear to his fans would come back as a miniseries event.

"We have another series event in preparation, and we are very happy to inform you," said the boss of Fox, Gary Newman .

"[The series creator]  Paul Scheuring  came to us and presented us with a very good story to restart the series, "said Newman. "This will return the two brothers, Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell, and Paul is already writing the first episode.
